CUSTOM DESIGN POLICY

Overview
Creating a custom piece is a collaborative and personal process — one that’s tailored just for you. To begin, we’ll discuss your ideas, inspiration, and budget to make sure we’re aligned on design direction and materials.

Design Deposit
A non-refundable design deposit of 50% of the total estimate is required to begin the design process. This covers my time for sketches, sourcing, and design development. The deposit is applied toward your final balance when you move forward with the finished piece.

Design Review
You’ll have the chance to review sketches before any metal or stones are ordered. Small adjustments can be made during this stage to ensure the design feels just right!

Sketches are created to be as refined as possible, while keeping in mind the subtle, organic, signs of hand-working I allow to come through are un-planned, and sometimes not easily conveyed in drawings. This further makes each piece special and one-of-a-kind.

Approval & Creation
Once the design is approved and you’re ready to proceed, the remaining balance (minus your deposit) + shipping will be due before I begin crafting your piece. This covers estimated time and material purchases. Should changes be made in the process, additional payments may be required in order to cover costs related to those changes.

Because custom pieces are made specifically for you, all custom orders are final sale and non-refundable.
