Do you take custom requests?

I do periodically take personalized (of an existing n'Grained design) + custom collaboration requests now. Please start by reading this, then fill out this project request here!

How do I wear and care for Hannah n'Grained pieces?

Part of my signature is a darker, well-worn, finish. Varying levels of patina are added in the end-stages of crafting the pieces, to achieve this. For best practice, I use liver-of-sulfur to patina the pieces, whenever possible. Most patina'd components are buffed with a protective coating to delay wear, and offer protection from the elements.

WEAR
Areas that have less patina to start, you can expect some degree of tarnishing over time. Silver, brass and copper all will naturally tarnish with exposure to elements, including contact with our body oils.

CARE
To slow down the tarnish process, remove before exposing to harsh elements (like salt air/water, cleaning chemicals, chlorine, etc.), and store your pieces in the jewelry pouch they arrived in!

To re-brighten areas that are not heavily patina'd, use an untreated polishing cloth with a subtle texture (I prefer my jeans). Be very cautious around stones.

Can I have my order gift wrapped?

Good news! All items already ship "gift ready", for safe storing of your piece(s), or to be re-used! I do not include a receipt in order (to not spoil surprises), however I do like to include a note, as a thank you to the ordering customer!

What are your shipping options?

USPS Flat Rate $10 (approx. 3-4 biz. days transit)
USPS Priority (approx. 2 biz days transit)

Fulfillment time is as follows, unless directly communicated to you - because life happens...

(RTS) Ready-to-Ship Items: are typically packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days of your order being received.
(MTO) Made-to-Order Items: are packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days of your order being finished. MTO pieces are made only upon receipt of your order. While I do everything to not delay crafting your special piece, the actual crafting time can vary, since I'm a one-woman-show! Please contact me prior to placing a custom or MTO piece, if it is time-sensitive. I will always do my best to accommodate!

Do you accept returns?

I stand by my craft, and your joy of my work! If you are not happy with your purchase, I offer studio credit, or exchange for a piece of equal value (at time of purchase). 

QUALIFYING ITEMS
Pieces that involve custom/personalized details or materials, I (typically) do not accept returns. However, if I feel it could easily be enjoyed by others, I will consider accepting for a restocking fee (20% of original price).

RETURNING/EXCHANGING
You must e-mail me within 7 days of receiving your order. Do not send back without my agreed confirmation to your request. Items must be returned in original condition, and within a timely manner. *Shipping costs for returns/exchanges are customer responsibility.

DAMAGED UPON ARRIVAL
Though I feel confident in the steps I take and protective nature of the packaging I use, accidents can happen once they leave my studio in transit. Should an item arrive broken, please e-mail me within 7 business days of receipt and you must include pictures of damage to item(s) and/or broken packaging (to help support a claim with carrier).

How can I use a discount/offer?

Refer to the fine print noted with the discount/offer. Due to the nature of the projects, all discounts/offers are not applicable for personalized + custom work, unless otherwise stated.
