Custom + Personalized Projects

From taking adventures, to wearing your adventures!
_____________________________
I’m a one-woman-show, and am slowly starting to take on only a project or two at a time. It allows me to get to know the uniqueness of you, putting those qualities in the spotlight, craft with deeper intention, and hone my customization process!
I’m humbled by personalization requests of my current designs, and open to exploring a collaboration on a more custom vision of your own! I consider a “personalized” piece to have very little change to the existing design, but maybe making in a size or with a specific stone that’s unique to you. I consider a “custom” piece, one that starts from scratch a bit more, or heavily changes an existing design.
What I don’t do, is intentionally replicate others’ distinct design or style. Not only out of respect to them, but respect to you as well! You’re coming to me, so at the end of the day, every piece will be infused with my own approach, spirit of the outdoors, and show signs of my hand-forged style!
Being that each project is a little different, my process and turnaround time continue’s to evolve, so patience is an equally helpful and appreciated part of the process.
MATERIALS I WORK WITH
Based on experience and studio capabilities, I work in newly acquired sterling silver, copper, brass, and natural + ethically sourced gemstones only. Gold is beautiful, though a very different beast! And as sentimental as I am, due to many factors, I’m only able to work with passed-down/existing jewelry material in certain capacities. If you want me to consider working with your jewelry, please be sure to include details + well-lit photos in your project request!
GENERAL PROCESS
1. Fill out the custom project request form as thoroughly as you can. I’ll happily review, and e-mail back with initial thoughts and availability!
2. Once ready to proceed, I start sharing 3 things. 1) If applicable, some doodled ideas to further dial-in the design details/options. 2) Share estimate(s) of cost + turnaround time*. 3) Share my custom project policy for review.
3. Confirm final agreement of design, by submitting a non-refundable project deposit. This deposit holds space in my studio schedule, reserves materials, etc. Note, to cut down on steps for both of us, submission of your deposit will be accepted as your agreement to the custom project policies I provided.
4. Then, I’ll get to work and share progress updates as I go!
5. Your one-of-a-kind piece ships out (or is ready for pickup), once the final balance is complete!
*Due to my artisan market schedule + many other factors beyond my control, both costing and timelines can be tricky to estimate. I will always do my best to provide accurate and updated info.
