The difference...

I consider "personalized projects" as simple edits (of a current design) to better suite you! Personalized pieces don't necessarily change the overall design. Think, a ring crafted in your size, or a piece with specific stones! 

GENERAL PROCESS

1. E-mail hannah@hngrained.com and include "Personalization" in the subject line. Reference the design you'd like me to personalize and what you'd like done...ring sized to your finger, craft with a specific stone, etc.
2. I'll happily get back to you with further questions and/or confirmation + my timeline!
3. If applicable, a non-refundable "deposit" (ex. cost of special stone) may be requested before crafting 
4. I'll share updates with you while completing your piece
5. Once completed, I'll send over a request for final purchase
6. And as with any other order, I'll package your piece with care and put in the mail when the balance is paid

TURNAROUND TIME

I do my best to craft personalized requests within 1-2 weeks of your request. However, if material/stones need to be ordered, this may affect that timeline.

CUSTOM PROJECTS

As a one-woman show, I’m able to periodically focus on custom projects. With only a few a year, I'm able to get to know you better, craft with deeper intention, and refine my customization process. There's magic in exploring custom visions together! Whether it’s making subtle changes, like adjusting the size or choosing a different stone, or creating something entirely new, each project is special to me.

I take pride in ensuring that every piece reflects my unique, hand-forged touch and the spirit of the outdoors. Out of respect for other creators—and for you—I avoid replicating distinct styles. I strive to create something that resonates with both of us!

MATERIALS I WORK WITH

Based on experience and studio capabilities, I work with reclaimed sterling silver, copper, brass, and natural gemstones that are ethically sourced (both land and hand). I also enjoy working with PMC (Precious metal clay) which a bi-product of the photography and tech industry. It acts much like the clay you know of. After I fire it, all that remains is the silver shape I created, through and through. I typically use PMC when I want to capture a texture or a specific shape. 

INVESTMENT

This journey of customized collaboration and creativity typically starts with a non-refundable $100 minimum investment, depending on the complexity of the project. I do my best to estimate all costs involved based on my understanding of discussed design and the time, materials, and techniques involved in crafting. With currently fluctuating material costs out of our control, this may impact the estimated costs. I'll always be transparent about these changes. 

GENERAL PROCESS

1. Fill out + submit this form to share your vision and design ideas with me!
2. I'll promptly review and touch-base via email to confirm if it's a good fit, and clarify your vision
3. Then I'll price and share the estimated cost for the project (materials, time, complexity, etc.) based on initial understanding of design, to confirm you want to move forward
4. I'll create an order for this project that you'll make payment(s) towards along the way, starting with a non-refundable deposit
5. Upon receiving your deposit, I'll start putting time into refining the design ideas for review, until we're both happy!
6. Then I'll begin crafting - sharing updates along the way
7. Upon finishing, a separate listing will be shared with you, reflecting the remaining balance.
8. Upon payment in full, I'll package your piece carefully and ship out to you!

*Note, incremental payments for stone purchases, special materials, etc. may be requested along the way.

The price shown in this listing is the minimum for any custom request. Estimated total cost will be determined based on design complexity, time and material costs.

TURNAROUND TIME

This is not always straightforward to estimate - as it's based on complexity of the design, material availability, etc. However, without any unexpected delays life (or suppliers) can throw us, I strive for 3-6 weeks from receipt of deposit, for most projects!
