The Seasonality Coin collection is multi-layered...It began with my desire for a simple way to remind myself of the grounding benefits of mirroring unique qualities of each season! This led me to discover ecologists acknowledge six seasons in temperate climates, not just four!

Hibernal Season (Winter)
Rest and hibernation, quietness, reflection, renewal of mind and body, a slower pace, warmly cooked foods, reading, craft, ancestors...
Pre-Vernal Season (early Spring)
Awakening, soft stretching, hope, early buds, feeling of potential, freshening of space...
Vernal Season (Spring)
Animal activity increases and buds are pushing through, contemplation of power and determination (reflection of new plants growing), acts of balance, vibrance (sunlight increasing each day)...
Estival Season (Summer)
Shift from action to nourishment (thanks to abundant sunshine), freshness (water, fresh produce), care and tend to what you're growing...
